Couples Counselling - "Before it's too far gone."
Most couples wait six years after problems start before seeking help. You don't have to be one of them. With a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for supporting couples through their challenges, we provide a safe and non-judgemental space for couples to explore their concerns, enhance their communication, and rediscover the love and connection they desire.
Couples Counselling
In our work with couples, we believe in taking a collaborative and solution-focused approach. We understand that each couple is unique, with their own dynamics, histories, and aspirations. With empathy and respect, we strive to create a trusting therapeutic environment where couples can openly express their thoughts and emotions. Together, we will identify patterns, explore underlying issues, and develop practical tools and strategies to facilitate positive change and growth. We specialise in working with couples on a range of issues, including:
- Communication Breakdown and Conflicts: When the same argument keeps happening. When you're both explaining, no-one's listening. This is where we start.
- Trust and Betrayal: Rebuilding isn't forgetting. It's a real, structured process — and it works, if you both want it to.
- Intimacy and Sexual Concerns: The conversations you can't quite have with each other, we can have with you. No embarrassment, no judgement.
- Parenting Challenges and Co-Parenting after Separation: You separated. The kids didn't. Figuring out how to parent from two homes without them getting caught in the middle — this is where we work.
- Pre-Marital Counselling and Preparing for Marriage: Marriage doesn't come with a rehearsal. Pre-marital counselling is the closest thing — a few sessions before you say yes.
- Relationship Transitions and Life Adjustments: Moving cities, changing careers, an empty nest, illness — the big transitions don't just happen to you. They happen to the two of you. Let's navigate this one together.
- Infidelity Recovery and Rebuilding Trust: After the affair. This work isn't about pretending it didn't happen. It's about deciding what happens next — and slowly rebuilding something new, if that's what you both want.
- Emotional Disconnection and Lack of Fulfilment: You're not fighting. You're not close either. That grey space — the roommate feeling — is one of the most common reasons couples come to us. It's also very fixable
